Xarel·lo wines
Xarel·lo is a white grape from Catalonia and one of the three traditional Cava grapes, alongside Macabeo and Parellada, contributing body and structure to the blend. It is especially important in the Penedès, where it also makes characterful still whites. Xarel·lo shows citrus, pear, fennel and herbal notes with good acidity, and pairs well with seafood, fried snacks and herb-rich dishes.
