Veneto
VEH-neh-to
Veneto runs from Lake Garda and the Alps down to the Venetian lagoon. Around Verona the hills of Valpolicella and Soave give Amarone, Valpolicella and Soave; the shores of Lake Garda give Bardolino, Custoza and Lugana; the plains towards Venice give Prosecco and Pinot Grigio.
Our 19 Veneto wines come from six producers, from Amarone and Valpolicella to Soave, Lugana, Bardolino and Prosecco, plus varietal IGT wines from the Piave plain.
