Piedmont

pee-eh-MON-teh

Piedmont means “at the foot of the mountains”: the Alps close it on three sides, and autumn fog in the hills gave Nebbiolo its name. Our wines come from the hills of Asti and Monferrato, from Roero across the Tanaro river, and from Gavi near the Ligurian border.

Our 7 Piedmont wines come from four producers: Barbera d'Asti, Roero Arneis, Gavi and Moscato d'Asti, plus a Monferrato red blend and a sparkling Bonarda from Oltrepò Pavese, just over the border in Lombardy.
