Winemaking process:
Corvina and Rondinella from Torre d'Orti's hillside vineyards on red soils mixed with white chalk are fermented traditionally, then blended with slightly overripe Merlot for extra softness. The estate in Marcellise, east of Verona, was founded in 2000 by the Piona family and is named after an old watchtower of Montorio Castle.
