A wine of stunning depth and concentration, both in its rich aromas of ripe fruit and spice as well as on the palate, where its alcohol finds in the alcohol and elegant tannins perfect travelling companions.
Gastronomy:
Ideal with roasts, game, and aged cheeses, but also sipped meditatively by itself as a vino da meditazione. A mature cheese such as the local Monte Veronese with a spiced fruit compote.
Vineyards:
From vineyards in the commune of S. Martino, in the frazione of Marcellise.
Ageing method:
Aged for 12 months in new French oak barriques then blended and aged for 12 months in large barrels.
