Wine Tenuta La Meridiana, Le Quattro Terre Bianco, 2017
Tenuta La Meridiana has become synonymous with producing some of Italy's most unique and fragrant white wines. This rare white blend is a great example, with a plethora of unique aromas, including sage and chamomile.
Characteristics
Wine Style:
White - This wine is a full bodied whit with delicate nose of white flowers, white stone fruits and impressive structure.
Tasting Notes:
Pale straw yellow with an intense fruity aroma. Refined notes of apple, chamomile and sage. Structured and balanced with a solid but refined body. Light to medium intensity on the palate.
Gastronomy:
Pairs exceptionally well with appetizers, first courses, fish and seafood.
Vineyards:
The soil is calcareous-marl with south, south-east exposure. Yield per hectare: 9 tons. Manual harvesting.
Ageing method:
In stainless steel tanks, on fine lees, for 5 months.
Winemaking process:
Soft pressing of the grapes, cold static decantation, fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.
