By leaving this iconic red variety unoaked, one truly experiences the wine in its purest form. With typical, vibrant Barbera aromas and flavors, the winemaker has managed to produce a lively and well balanced wine.
Red- This unoaked red is a fresh and fruity wine with typical Barolo notes.
Ruby red in colour. Fruity with notes of cherry and blackberry.
Ideal with main courses, pairs well with cured meats.
The soil is calcareous-clayish and silt with south exposure. Yield per hectare: 9 tonnes. Manual harvest.
Fermented in stainless steel tanks, at a temperature of about 25-26'C, for 15 days in contact with the skins, it is drained to complete the primary fermentation without grape marc. After completing malolactic fermentation, it continues refinement in stainless steel tanks.
