Wine Style:
Unique combination of full body and slender fruit. Precise and sharp with a vibrant acidity.
Tasting Notes:
Clear, pale, lemongreen. Nose: Clean, ripe green fruit. Green apple and peach. Citrus notes of lime and baked lemon. Hint of tropical fruit. Soft minerals slate and flint. Palate: juicy with rich acidity. Soft green fruit, more dominated by baked citrus on palate. Soft minerality. Great concentration, acidity and medium intensity. long finish. Solid aging potential and the wine will show much more.
Vineyards:
steep, southfacing slope (240- >300 m), Sun stays long in the evening, Rocky sparse soil of Devonian Slate and Quartzites, made of grapes from oldest and steepest vineyards. Long period of vegetation and late harvested
Winemaking process:
The reduced-yield grapes are selectively picked by hand. The wines are fermented spontaneously in steel tanks and matured in the typical location.
