Wine Masciarelli, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, 2022
Peach and lychee with mineral notes and lime zest on the finish. Fruity and refreshing
Characteristics
Wine Style:
Light, approachable, floral and fruity, lime, honey, off-dry, med- acidity
Tasting Notes:
Golden yellow color with a bouquet of pear, light citrus and mango on the nose. A punch of minerality on the palate with yeast notes and mint. Refreshing acidity followed by a figlike sweet sensation.
Winemaking process:
Static decantation of the must after destemming and soft pressing; controlled cold fermentation and aging in stainless steel.
Interesting notes:
The first international grape variety planted by Masciarelli in Abruzzo in the areas of Bucchianico and San Martino sulla Marrucina, close to Majella, is affected by the powerful influence of sea and mountains that contribute to the full phenolic maturity of the grape.
