A seemingly simple Syrah and Grenache blend has lead to this rather bold but fruity wine. The wine is well balanced and is an excellent value-for-money red.

Wine Style:
Red - The simple blend offers pronounced aromas, balance and is an excellent value-for-money wine.
Tasting Notes:
The wine is youthful with pronounced aromas of cherry, blackberry, strawberry, and baking spice. On the palate, the wine offers medium acidity and brightness.
Sommelier's advice:
Simple beef dishes, like burgers or BBQ, will be the first choice as a food pairing. Alternatively, veal or lamb stew would just as well.
Vineyards:
The vineyards are located on the west-facing slopes of Vingrau Valley, where all the wines are produced sustainably.
Winemaking process:
The Syrah and Grenache grow on clay-limestone hills and stony alluvial soils in the Vingrau valley in Roussillon, where cliffs shade the vines from some of the summer sun. The wine spends several months in tank, then rests in bottle in cool cellars. Elecció is Catalan for "choice", a nod to Roussillon's Catalan heritage.
