Characteristics
Wine Style:
Made in a fresh style that highlights the fruit and terroir expression of each carefully selected region of origin.
Tasting Notes:
Pale straw colour. Nose of ripe citrus fruit and peaches, along with a smooth palate with a medium body. The characteristic ripe citrus fruit is balanced by fresh acidity and moderate alcohol, giving this wine a fresh and persistent finish.
Vineyards:
Vineyards are located in the village of Isla de Maipo.
Soil: Decomposed granite.
Climate: Cool coastal.
Harvest: During the third week of March
Winemaking process:
Grapes are de-stemmed and pressed gently to avoid extracting bitter phenols. Alcohol fermentation in stainless steel tanks with natural yeast. Wine is left to age over fine lees for 6 months.
Interesting notes:
Organic agriculture is practiced, and all the grapes for this approachable wine are estate grapes, manually harvested.
