The wine's aromas lean toward a flinty, greener side of gooseberries, citrus, and pear. The zippy acidity is matched with the wine's subtle some and vanilla tones that finish with a slight floral note on the palate.
Gastronomy:
As with most Bordeaux whites, the wine is best served with lighter meats, like pork, fish, poultry, and vegetable-based dishes.
Vineyards:
The vineyards are affected by the ocean and two rivers. The soils are limestone-rich and add significantly to the wine's minerality.
Winemaking process:
The grapes are mechanically harvested, macerated on their skins, and undergo gentle pressing. The wines are often left for months on the lees to add to the body.
