Wine Style:
Deep ruby red color with garnet hues. Ethereal, of red fruit and vanilla, persistent.
Tasting Notes:
Dried herbs, earthy and dried cherry. Bone dry, elegant, complex, grippy fine tannins, precise acidity, great balance and length. Dark fruit and baking spices.
Gastronomy:
Roast red meats, Game and aged cheeses. Salted cheeses and cured meats.
Winemaking process:
Alcoholic fermentation with maceration on the skins (25 - 30 days) at a controlled temperature and spontaneous malolactic fermentation, both occurring in Slavonian oak vats (where it stays for 6-8 months).
Interesting notes:
Brunello must be aged for 4 years before release, 2 of which must be in barrel. 100% Sangiovese carefully selected in the oldest vineyards. The wine is combined with the ethereal, of red fruit and vanilla, persistent.
