Torre d'Orti
With some of the best terroir and altitude, the Torre d’Orti wines are of an exceptional standard. WIth unique soil and climate, the wines are well-balanced, complex, and excellent wines to age.
The Torre d’Orti range is part of Cavalchina wines. The Azienda Agricola Cavalchina was established in the early 1900s, where the first vineyards were planted. With time, a cellar and even a distillery were built but only used until the late 60s.
Everything about how their wines are produced is done perfectly, from the grapes that have been chosen to the winemaking practices. Their grapes’ yield is relatively low, but this has allowed for tremendously concentrated and intense grapes with high sugar content.
This intensity and concentration are evident in all of their wines, including Garganega, Fernanda, and Trebbiano. These wines are highly aromatic, fresh, and an excellent expression of the region’s unique terroir.
The Torre d’Orti wines are an incredible selection of reds that include Italy’s most iconic wines. These wines include Torre Rosso, Valpolicella, Ripasso, and Amarone. They are rich and intense and fit in perfectly with Cavalchina’s philosophy: “To make wine of quality is an art that requires patience, intelligence, and love. Nothing is left to chance. The three key factors are terroir, the vine, and vinification.”
