Despagne is a prestigious Bordeaux winery, situated in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers. With more than 200 years of winemaking in the family, there is a great sense of tradition and skill associated with the name.
In fact, Despagne has established 5 Chateaux throughout the region and is dedicated to producing wines of character, uniqueness, and prestige. This has proven wildly successful due to new innovations used in both their vineyards and cellars.
The family’s dedication to sustainable winemaking has had an incredible impact on their winery. In the past ten years, they have reduced the conventional treatment of their vineyards by more than 80%. They have also rapidly increased their biodynamic practices by introducing various animals and new vineyard methods. This has allowed the winery to stand out as a top producer of wine and a key sustainable brand.
Story
The Despagne family has been rooted in Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, for over 200 years; Thibault, Gabriel and Basaline run the family's five châteaux.
