Characteristics
Wine Style:
White - Off-dry,balance.
Tasting Notes:
Pears, green apple, honeysuckle on the nose and palate. Right acidity and not too sweet, just enough acid to cut the sweetness making this very pleasant and drinkable..Slight chalkiness, a delicious and buttery wine. Minerality and lemon notes clean the palate.
Gastronomy:
A certain degree of sweetness is allowing for an easy combination with spicy food and the characteristic Riesling acidity is leaving a clean palate beautifully balancing the residual sugar and insuring a zingy refreshing effect.
Vineyards:
Grapes come from the growers in the region based on long time nurtured relationships of Johannes Sellbach with them.
Winemaking process:
Spontaneous fermentation, mostly in stainless steel and partly in large old Mosel fuder.

Generally a Mosel off-dry Riesling is more than versatile in food pairing
