Wine Style:
Rosé - A stunning fresh and fruity rosé that is certified organic. It offers an array of vibrant red fruits.
Tasting Notes:
Fragrant with red cherry, raspberry and strawberry aromas. Delicious soft strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant flavours. This wine has a refreshing, dry minerally finish which makes it an excellent accompaniment to a wide variety of lighter flavoured food dishes. Ideal to be enjoyed at any time.
Gastronomy:
Nicely chilled this wine is perfect as an aperitif or summertime drinking and paired with snacks and light meals and salads.
Winemaking process:
All fruit was crushed and destemmed and held half-day in the press to allow for colour extraction before being cool fermented to preserve the vibrant primary fruit characters.
Interesting notes:
Richmond Plains produced New Zealand’s first certified organic Rosé.
