Taraboste can be boldly kept in the collection, as it has potential for further maturation and development in bottle. With the passage of time it becomes more noble, justifying its ‘Purely Aristocratic’ character.

Fantastic red. Great aroma. Good integrated oak. Very well balanced. Still young with good aging potential.
Tasting Notes:
Deep red color, dusty nose, barrel and black fruits, plums and cherries in taste, bold and tannins well defined, alcohol well integrated, medium finish,
Gastronomy:
Drinkable on its own or with richer food like lamb chops, steak, mature cheeses
Ageing method:
Matured for 18 months in new barrels.
Interesting notes:
Geto – Dacian nobles, who lived in the Roman Dacia of Trajan Emperor in the period 106-271 BC, were awarded with the title of Taraboste aristocrats. The term comes from the form of hats, which the nobility of the ancient period was wearing.
