Winemaking process:
This dry white is made by Château Vartely, a winery near Orhei founded in 1996 that farms about 260 hectares in Moldova's Codru and Valul lui Traian regions. It is made in a fresh, floral style. In Moldova and Romania, 'Riesling de Rhin' means true Riesling, to set it apart from the unrelated Riesling Italico.
