Trebbiano/Ugni Blanc wines
Trebbiano, called Ugni Blanc in France, is one of the most widely planted white grapes in the world. In France it is mostly distilled into Cognac and Armagnac, while in Italy it makes light, crisp whites such as Trebbiano d'Abruzzo and is used for traditional balsamic vinegar. Its neutral, lemony freshness makes it an easy partner for seafood, salads and light dishes, served well chilled.
