Riesling wines
Riesling is Germany's signature grape, also grown in Alsace, Austria and Australia's Clare and Eden Valleys. It keeps high acidity, shows lime, peach and floral notes, and with age can develop a distinctive petrol aroma. Made dry, off-dry or lusciously sweet, it is one of the best wines for Asian food: an off-dry Riesling balances chilli, lime and fish sauce beautifully.
