The Achs family has grown wine in Gols, on the shores of Lake Neusiedl, since 1684. Paul Achs took over in 1990 and has run the estate biodynamically since 2006, with about 40 plots in and around Gols. He is known for Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt and Pinot Noir.
