L’Lac, which falls under the famed Cavalchina winery, is a unique expression of this area’s white wines. The one-of-a-kind L’lac wine is one example of the many extraordinary wines produced by Cavalchina.
Cavalchina is a renowned winery that is known for consistently producing excellent wine. With an extraordinary range of wines, including aromatic whites, Cavalchina stands out as a leader in its industry.
The Lugana L’Lac range, which consists of only a single bottle, is a unique take on rare varieties. This wine was crafted into a light, refreshing white wine with gentle lees contact using the Trebbiano variety.
Everything about how their wines are produced is done perfectly, from the grapes that have been chosen to the winemaking practices. Their grapes’ yield is relatively low, but this has allowed for tremendously concentrated and intense grapes with high sugar content.
And this wine is an excellent expression of the winery’s motto: “To make wine of quality is an art that requires patience, intelligence, and love. Nothing is left to chance. The three key factors are terroir, the vine, and vinification.”

’LLAC is the Piona family's return to Lugana: brothers Franco and Luciano Piona, grandsons of the founder of Cavalchina, bought back the vineyards on Lake Frassino.
