Kvint is a winery and distillery in Tiraspol whose history goes back to 1897, when a rectification warehouse opened on Vokzalnaya Street to make grape vodka from wines bought in nearby villages. Production of divins (aged grape brandies) began four decades later, and the first wine spirits were laid down to age in 1938. The company has about 2,000 hectares of its own vineyards with more than 30 grape varieties. Its cellars hold some 11 million litres of spirits aged from one to 60 years, and the range includes more than 30 divins aged from 3 to 60 years.
