Château Plat Faisant is a family estate at Les Roques, on the heights above Saint-Vincent-Rive-d'Olt in the Cahors appellation. The vines have passed from father to son for three generations. The vineyard of about 20 hectares lies on south-facing clay-limestone slopes and is planted with Malbec, with vines 20 to 40 years old, and is in conversion to organic farming. The wines are made traditionally in stainless steel vats or oak barrels, and the range includes the Château Plat Faisant, Générations, Ancêtre and Intouchable cuvées.
