While this IGT wine doesn't carry a heavy appellation, it does however, pack quite the punch. With layers of fruit, acididty and structure, this wine is an affordable option that drinks well, but ages even better.

Tasting Notes:
Colour: clear, intense ruby. Aroma: elegant, fruity, hints of cherry, lightly spicy. Taste: warm, rounded, balanced with strong hints of red fruit and a long finish. Overall impressions: harmonious, with excellent aging potential.
Gastronomy:
Couple with: cold cuts and cheese, pasta, soup. Perfect as an aperitif.
Vineyards:
IuLi’o Toscana is made totally from Sangiovese grapes that take on the characteristics of the soil, vegetation and climate of the region in which it is grown. Soil with medium texture with limestone clay and sand. Altitude 250m. Exposure of the vineyards are West/South West. Age of vines: 16 years
Ageing method:
Aged in reused barriques for 3 months.
Winemaking process:
Grapes were harvested by hand, maceration in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26°C for 15 days with frequent remontage.
