Wine Selbach Oster, Incline Riesling, 2018
Selbach Incline has its name derived from steep vineyard slopes getting down to Rhine river. All vineyard works and harvests are done manually. A typical Mosel Riesling delivers refreshing acidity, a nose of fruitiness and white flowers with a touch of honey and impressive minerality. Considering local climate its 11.5% alcohol volume hits the spot and also great food companion.
Great German Riesling from Mosel. Bright, apple, pear, peach and white citrus, clean finish.
Generous clean fruit flavours, leaning toward green apple, pear and white citrus. The mineral notes kick in towards the finish to keep it fresh and vibrant. Good acidity with a long finish.
Goes well with Asian cuisine, spicy foods and tropical fruits.
Near vertical slopes with blue and red Devonian slate. Vines are on average 25 years old. Manual harvesting.
Naturally cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks
