Considering the wine's origin, it comes as no surprise that this wine is elegant, fruit-driven while still having balanced acidity and slightly savory notes. It is an excellent representation of new world Shiraz.

Wine Style:
Red - A Rich and intense expression of new world Shiraz with intriguing aromas and great prestige.
Tasting Notes:
The nose is intriguing, showing violets and hints of clove, tar and smoke as well as ripe dark fruit with an almost cordial-like intensity. On the palate, there’s blueberry and black cherry fruit, also a pleasant cherry pip bitterness. Full-bodied yet elegant with bright acidity balancing soft tannins, rounded mouthfeel.
Gastronomy:
Beautiful food wine pairing well with BBQ meats, venison, spicy food and Asian cuisine.
Ageing method:
Wooden foudres for 11 months
Winemaking process:
From three dryland bush vine vineyards on the farm, some of the grapes partially de-stemmed, some left to ferment as whole bunch, all vinified and aged separately in combo concrete tanks, wooden foudres and old barrels for 11 months before blending and bottling.
